Rehab Joy
Sports & Therapy Clinic · Holborn
Sports rehabilitation, soft tissue therapy and physiotherapy in one private treatment room on Kingsway. Assessment, hands-on treatment and a rehab plan you can follow between sessions, for athletes and desk workers alike.
Every session starts with an assessment, so the hands-on work is aimed at something specific. Add-on therapies sit alongside a session rather than replacing it.
Posture and injury assessment, hands-on release, joint mobilisation and a graded exercise plan that carries the recovery between appointments.
Sustained pressure through the deeper muscle layers for training load, long desk hours and the stiffness that follows both.
Radial shockwave for stubborn tendon pain, plantar fasciitis and tennis elbow, with therapeutic ultrasound as the gentler option.
Instrument-assisted soft tissue work for scar tissue and restricted fascia, with sports taping to hold the change while you load it again.
Needling with a TDP lamp, dry needling into trigger points, and cupping for broad areas of tension across the back and shoulders.
HCPC-registered assessment and diagnosis, manual therapy, load management and return-to-sport decisions with Mo Wong.
Joy founded the clinic and treats the majority of its caseload. Mo works alongside her for cases that call for a physiotherapy assessment or medical acupuncture. You can see either, or both.

View on Google →Came here for elbow therapy after playing badminton. The treatment was fantastic! Having Rehab Joy to help release and relax the muscles after high-intensity training gives me so much peace of mind. Highly recommend to anyone into sports!
View on Google →I've been coming to Joy for sports massage for around two years now, and I couldn't recommend her more. She's incredibly professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely cares about her clients. Every time I have tight muscles after the gym, she helps relieve the tension and gets me feeling much better. She has also helped me with other issues, like when I came back from a ski trip with knee pain—she carefully assessed the problem and provided effective treatment. If you're looking for someone who really understands sports injuries and recovery, Joy is fantastic!
View on Google →I had an ankle sprain and was struggling with pain and movement. After a few sessions with Yan, I felt a big improvement. She is very professional and really understands how to treat injuries, not just relieve symptoms.
Highly recommend if you're dealing with any pain or sports injuries.
View on Google →Had a recurring knee problem for a very long time, tried a lot of different treatments but none helps until seeing Yan. Yan is very professional and helped me identify the root cause. Now my knee has improved a lot.
View on Google →I am 67 years old. I have had chronic lower back pain for twenty years. I have tried osteopaths, chiropractors, NHS MSK, private back consultants and, last year, six months of IDD therapy. None of these treatments helped and I started to feel despondent about my future mobility.
I first met Mo Wong in September 2025. At that time, I needed to sit down to relieve discomfort after only ten minutes of walking.
At my first session, Mo immediately made me feel at ease. He reassured me that he would be able to help me to manage my pain and build strength to improve my mobility.
Mo is extremely knowledgeable and was able to assess the problems and explain everything clearly to me. The aim is for me to be able to help myself through exercises which he checks I am doing correctly. I have done these daily and soon noticed improvement in my mobility, with less discomfort.
I do sometimes have setbacks, and then Mo is able to give effective hands on treatment and acupuncture to provide relief.
Mo has also helped me with knee and shoulder problems.
Mo is a highly dedicated professional. He is also very personable, encouraging, kind and patient.
I feel very lucky to have Mo to help me and thoroughly recommend him.
View on Google →Mo has made such a difference to my life. He has such a professional caring manner. His acupuncture and physio skills has really helped me. Migraines have ruled my life for years and made me so miserable. With only two migraines in the last three months, instead of weekly migraines, I feel amazing. Before the acupuncture I had constant neck pain, I am now pain free. This therapy has literally changed my life. Thank you.
View on Google →I cannot praise Mo high enough.
Just had my 4th session for a painful neck. Mo is very professional and thorough and does not rush. He is open and friendly. He takes his time to help me with exercises. I feel I also have benefited from the acupuncture. I highly recommend him.
